Comparison

Rokon vs Botika

Both tools generate on-model photos from product shots. Rokon is built for fashion merchants in MENA and beyond — Arabic-native, with Salla and Shopify apps, Gulf model presets, and strict garment fidelity. Botika is a solid English-first, self-serve tool centered on Shopify. The deciding factors are language, platform, and how faithfully your exact garment must be reproduced.

Garment fidelity: the photo must match the product

For a merchant, the single biggest AI-photography risk is a customer returning an order because the picture didn't match the garment. Rokon uses multi-image reference so the generated model wears your actual piece — stitching, logo placement, fabric texture. Botika produces good on-model results for its audience, but if catalog accuracy is your top requirement, test both tools with the same garment and inspect the details.

Arabic, Salla, and the Gulf market

Rokon ships a formal-Arabic RTL interface, Gulf model presets, and a native Salla app alongside Shopify — a Saudi or Gulf boutique can generate and publish without leaving its store admin or switching language. Botika has no Arabic interface and no Salla integration, so a Gulf merchant would work in English and upload results manually.

Pricing and what you actually pay per image

Rokon starts free (150 credits monthly), with Pro at $20/month for roughly 40 watermark-free images (≈$0.50 per standard image) and Business at $60/month for ~100 images with 4K and Bulk Studio. In our June 2026 comparison Botika's effective per-image cost came out two to three times higher at comparable self-serve tiers — worth re-checking against their current pricing for your volume.

Choose Rokon if…

  • You sell in Arabic or run a Salla store — Rokon is the only one of the two that supports either.
  • You need the on-model image to match the exact garment your customer receives.
  • You work in modest or Gulf fashion (abayas, thobes, hijab styles).
  • You want a lower per-image cost at SMB volumes, with a free tier to verify quality first.

Choose Botika if…

  • You run an English-language Shopify store and Arabic or Salla support is irrelevant to you.
  • You want a mature, single-purpose on-model tool and have validated its quality on your products.
  • Your catalog isn't fashion-specific and platform breadth matters less than familiarity.

Frequently asked questions

What's the main difference between Rokon and Botika?+

Focus and market. Rokon is a fashion-first studio built for MENA merchants — Arabic interface, Salla + Shopify apps, Gulf model presets, and strict garment fidelity. Botika is an English-first, self-serve on-model tool centered on Shopify.

Is Rokon cheaper than Botika?+

At typical SMB volumes, yes — a standard Rokon image costs about $0.50 on Pro ($20/month), and in our June 2026 check Botika's effective per-image cost was two to three times higher. Both change pricing over time, so verify with your own volume.

Can I try both before deciding?+

Yes, and you should — upload the same garment photo to both and compare fidelity, skin realism, and total cost. Rokon's free plan (150 credits monthly, no card) exists exactly for that test.
